Two vehicles were destroyed in a head-on crash on a country lane this evening.
Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision involving a small white van and a silver BMW on Restrop Road, Purton, at around 5pm.
Police closed the road in both directions as paramedics assessed the occupants of the vehicles, but neither sustained any serious injuries during the smash.
The vehicles were recovered and the road was reopened at around 7pm.
