Two teenagers have been arrested after a gun was sighted in Devizes.
Armed police were deployed following a report of a youth with what was believed to be an air rifle in the town at around 11pm on Thursday (18 July).
Firearms officers, a dog unit and local officers attended an address in Palmer Road – reportedly forcing entry to a property there.
Two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
It’s understood two teenage girls were also at the address and were taken to their own homes.
Wiltshire Police said nobody was injured in the incident and both suspects remained in custody for questioning this morning (Friday).
