Two teenagers have been arrested following a serious assault in Devizes.
The males – both aged 15 – are suspected of attacking a man on The Green on Tuesday (10 January).
During the incident at 10.15pm, the victim was reportedly struck with a metal bar or similar weapon.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the teenagers remain in custody, held on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The injured man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries – which are not being described as life-threatening or life-changing by the force.
