Two men arrested after van collides with mopeds injuring three teenagers in Swindon

Two 18-year-old men have been arrested in connection with an incident in which a van collided with two mopeds and injured three young teenagers in Swindon last Thursday evening.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on Dorcan Way at around 6pm on 29 March, where the two mopeds had been completely destroyed in the incident.

The three riders, understood to be aged 13, 15 and 15, were taken to Great Western Hospital.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Two men aged 18 have been arrested in connection with the incident. One has been released under investigation and one remains in custody at this time.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101.”
