Two dogs found in a ‘very poor condition’ may have been dumped, Wiltshire Council said.

Both bitches – said to be Poodle mixes – were located in the Tidworth area yesterday (Tuesday 1 August).

“These dogs were found yesterday and are now in our care, they are both in very poor condition but receiving all the care they need”, a dog warden spokesperson said.

Adding: “We believe they have been dumped in the area, please share to anyone that may be missing a dog of similar type.

“At this time we do not require help with rescue space or rehoming for this dog and we will be unable to reply to any requests for these.”

The dog had microchips, but the details are incorrect.

Anyone with information which will help locate the owner should email the dog team at Wiltshire Council on [email protected].

The owner of any dog being claimed must provide personal ID, proof of address and sufficient proof of ownership, as well as paying all relevant fees prior to collection.
