Two air ambulances were scrambled to help a woman in Malmesbury last night.
Emergency services responded to a serious medical incident in the Burnivale area at around 9pm yesterday evening (Monday, 20 May).
It’s understood a woman, believed to be in her 30s, collapsed from low blood pressure and hit her head – causing a seizure.
Ambulance crews, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance attended the scene. Both helicopters touched down near Daniel’s Well.
Local residents coned off Burnivale and stood guard directing traffic as medics provided urgent care to the casualty.
Once stable, the woman was rushed to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon for further treatment.
