A Trowbridge man has pleaded guilty to charges of grooming a child.

David Taylor, 44, was charged with attempting to meet a child under the age of 16 following grooming and attempting to cause/incite a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was arrested after arranging to meet the female child in Bath city centre in April.

At Swindon Crown Court on Friday 28 July, Taylor admitted two of the charges, but denied a third charge of attempted grooming.

The pleas were accepted, and he’s back in court on 25 August for sentencing.
