A trailer carrying hay bales overturned on a main road through Calne today (13 September).
Police officers were tasked to the road traffic collision on the A3102 at around 2.20pm.
A trailer being towed by a tractor had shed its load on the roundabout of Greenacres Way and School Road.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed no one was injured in the incident and the road was reopened after approximately three hours.
A spokesperson said: “Officers remained at the scene until the bales of hay were removed and placed onto trailers.
“Many thanks to passing motorists who were slightly delayed while the bales were safely recovered.”
