A body has been found in the search for a missing Swindon man.
Officers were looking for 38-year-old Jonathan following his disappearance at around 11.45am on Sunday morning (7 July).
Just several hours later – on Sunday afternoon – his body was located in the Westmead area of the town.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: “We can confirm that a body has been found in the search for missing Swindon man Jonathan.
“Officers have been carrying out a number of searches in the Swindon area since Jonathan was reported missing at 11:45am yesterday morning (Sunday).
“Sadly, a body was discovered yesterday afternoon in Westmead, and while formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Jonathan have been informed.
“Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
“We do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
