There are delays on the A429 this evening following a railway bridge strike.

A lorry hit Kingsway Bridge railway between the M4 (Junction 17) and Malmesbury at around 5pm.

The road remains open but is partially blocked as emergency services work at the scene.

The lorry collided with the bridge whilst travelling southbound, ripping its trailer roof off.

No one’s believed to have been injured in the collision.
