There are traffic delays on the A417 after a ‘large amount of metal’ fell from a lorry.
Police were called to the major route, at the Air Balloon Roundabout, this morning (Thursday).
According to National Highways, a large amount of metal that has fallen from a HGV.
The incident is blocking one lane of two, causing significant traffic delays on the approach.
A spokesperson said: “Lane 1 of (2) is closed on the A417/A436 Air Balloon roundabout due to a large amount of metal that has fallen from a HGV.
“[Gloucestershire Police] are on scene and working with specialist recovery to clear the debris.
“There are long delays on all approaches to the roundabout at this stage”.
