Damage to a manhole cover is causing traffic chaos on a Swindon route.
Motorists using Kingshill Road are being delayed by a partial road closure this morning (Thursday).
An area of the busy road has been cordoned off following damage to a Thames Water manhole cover.
A spokesperson for Swindon Borough Council said: “Morning Swindon, if you’re using Kingshill Road this morning, please be aware of the warning signage close to the roundabout travelling down the hill from Bath Road and Okus Road, due to a damaged Thames Water manhole cover.
“We’ve contacted Thames Water to prioritise the repair.”
