Two air ambulances landed in Tidworth after three people – including a young child – were hurt in a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision in on the A3026 Ludgershall Road at around 8pm on Thursday (11 September).
The incident, which took place near The Wellington Academy, involved a silver Renault Clio and a black Audi Q7.
The three occupants of the Renault, a man in his 40s, a woman in her 30s, and a nine-year-old child, sustained injuries in the crash.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance were both tasked, landing close to the scene.
The casualties received treatment, before they were conveyed to hospital for further care. Their injuries are not said to be life-changing or life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that an investigation into the collision is underway: “Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
At around 8.30pm, emergency services also attended a single-vehicle road traffic collision in nearby Station Road. Nobody was injured, but the road was blocked for a short time.
