Three suspected drug dealers were arrested in Swindon town centre this morning.
Police swooped on a vehicle – believed to be a grey Vauxhall Astra – in Princes Street, on the junction with Gordon Road, at just before midday today.
As many as ten police vehicles – marked and unmarked – swarmed the car as plain-clothed officers jumped into action, arresting two men and a woman who were travelling in the car.
The two males were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The female was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and assaulting an emergency worker.
Wiltshire Police was unable to confirm if the arrests were made by the Fortitude unit.
