Two routes in Wiltshire are blocked following crashes during the ‘thick and fast’ rainfall.

Emergency services were dealing with road traffic collisions near Devizes and south of Marlborough this afternoon (Wednesday).

The A360 just north of Potterne is closed in both directions after two incidents. Fire crews are in attendance alongside police and the ambulance service.

The A346 is blocked both ways near Cadley for one smash, with 999 crews working at the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be careful when driving in these conditions, the rain has fallen thick and fast causing flooding and some drains to come loose!”
