A suspected drink driver had three children in his car when he crashed on a country lane.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision near Royal Wootton Bassett at around 8.45pm last night (4 September).
On arrival at the scene in Withy Bed, near Bushton, 999 crews found a severely damaged silver car.
Three children were in the vehicle at the time of the crash but miraculously received no injuries.
Wiltshire Police say the driver failed the roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving but failed to provide an evidential breath sample in custody.
The man, a 37-year-old from Swindon, was taken to Great Western Hospital as a precaution before he was returned to custody.
