This Country actor Daisy May Cooper was spotted shopping in Swindon on Monday (20 September).
The BAFTA award winner appeared to have made purchases in Claire’s and Reiss during her trip to the Swindon Designer Outlet.
Snapped by staff at the centre, she was captured pushing her daughter Pip in a push along car hosting half a dozen shopping bags.
The shopping centre shared the photograph on Facebook, attracting hundreds of comments from fans who wished they’d been able to meet the famous Gloucestershire face.
Captioning their post, they wrote: “Spotted in centre today, Daisy May Cooper! We hope you’ve had a wonderful day shopping with us!”
Mum-of-two Daisy, who lives in Fairford, was a student at Deer Park School in Cirencester before landing a BBC contract to write and star in This Country, a popular sitcom about two cousins growing up in rural England.
On Facebook, Martin Exley said: “I love that even in her fame and glory she still shops in Claire’s”.
Another local, Janet Anne, was comically disappointed, stating: “She hasn’t got her Swindon Town top on”.
“Amazing friendly lady. Met her last year. She’s fabulous”, Suzanne Driscoll wrote.
