Thamesdown Drive in Swindon is partially blocked on the junction with the Tawny Owl and Mouldon Hill following a crash between a car and an ambulance car.
The incident happened at around 12.30pm, when a South Western Ambulance Service rapid response car – travelling on blue lights at the time – collided with a private vehicle on the junction.
Luckily, the paramedic was uninjured, as was the elderly woman in the black Honda.
The road was fully reopened at around 1.20pm, following recovery of the cars involved.
