Six people have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed multiple times during a fight.

A crime scene is in place this morning following a large disorder outside the Premier Express store in Clive Parade, Whitworth Road, at around 11.30pm last night.

The convenience store is currently closed due to the cordon outside.

The casualty, a 17-year-old man, suffered stab wounds. He required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police commented: “We arrested five males – aged, 16, 17, 23 and two 19-year-olds and a 26-year-old woman. All remain in custody at this time.

“Anyone with information should contact us now on 101 and quote log number 396 of yesterday.”
