Two teenage boys have been arrested after a man was repeatedly stabbed in Swindon.
The victim sustained numerous knife wounds in a robbery in Loxley Walk, Park South, shortly before 10.30am yesterday morning (Thursday, 18 August).
The injured male, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital – but his injuries are not described as life-threatening.
A grey and blue electric bike was stolen during the violent attack.
Officers have since arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. One of the males was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
They have both been bailed while further enquiries take place.
Detective sergeant James Rodrigues of the Operation Fortitude team said: “Officers take reports of incidents of this nature extremely seriously and we understand the shock and upset it has caused in the local community.
“Officers worked tirelessly overnight to identify two individuals who have now been arrested in connection with the incident, but we believe more individuals were involved.
