A 17-year-old driver is fighting for his life following a crash in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to the serious road traffic collision on the A362 near Warminster late yesterday evening (Tuesday, 10 September).
The incident involved two vehicles – a Volkswagen Polo and a Mercedes E350 – in Corsley Heath.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was deployed alongside local ambulance crews.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 17-year-old boy, suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital – where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the Mercedes and a passenger in the Volkswagen suffered reportedly minor injuries.
The road remains closed this morning (Wednesday) for forensic collision investigation and recovery work. It’s likely to reopen around midday.
