Emergency services have closed a road in Swindon following a serious incident.
Swinley Drive, in Peatmoor, has been shut by police following what is believed to be a road traffic collision at around 6pm this evening (Tuesday, 12 April).
Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in a field near Fovany Close, less than 150 metres from the scene.
The road is blocked in both directions. Traffic is building between Peatmoor Way and Common Platt.
The Swindon Bus Company says its 19 service won’t be able to serve Ridgeway Farm and stops between Webbs Wood and Bishopsdale Close “until further notice” after the route was “closed by Police due to an incident”.
