A Swindon town centre has been shut as firefighters battle a serious blaze.
At least four fire engines are attending a property in Elmina Road after they were called at around 11.30am this morning (21 November).
An aerial ladder platform is being utilised at the scene, meaning it’s likely the fire is affecting the roof of the building.
Fire crews from Swindon, Stratton, Westlea and Marlborough stations are at the incident off County Road.
The road is closed in both directions due to fire appliances blocking the route.
