A Swindon road is currently closed following a serious collision involving a child.
Ermin Street has been shut by police as two ambulances and multiple ambulance rapid response vehicles respond to the incident.
The road is closed between Beechcroft Road and Hobley Drive.
Specialist roads policing units are in attendance.
Motorists should avoid the area whilst emergency services work at the scene.
UPDATE 4.20PM: A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “At 3.15pm today (06/05) we responded to reports that a teenage girl had been hit by a car in Ermin Street, Stratton St Margaret in Swindon.
“Her injuries are not thought to be life changing or life threatening.
“The road is currently closed in both directions and drivers are being advised to avoid the area or take alternative routes.”
