A Swindon man who died in the street after a medical episode has been named locally.
Police were forced to close Cricklade Road in Swindon on Monday 1 February after a large number of emergency workers responded to a cardiac arrest at the roadside.
The significant response saw several ambulance vehicles and half a dozen police officers in attendance as they attempted to revive the man on the junction with Penhill Drive.
Wiltshire 999s can reveal that despite medics’ efforts to save his life, Adrian ‘Ady’ Bradbury, in his 40s, was pronounced dead the scene after more than an hour.
A post-mortem examination has been ordered to establish his cause of death, but Wiltshire Police say his death is not believed to be suspicious.
