A Swindon man faces trial accused of a sexual assault on a woman.
50-year-old Neil Whyte appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 9 April.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault on a woman aged over 16 – which is alleged to have taken place in August 2023.
The trial is due to take place at the same court on 20 June and is estimated to last six hours.
Whyte, of no fixed abode, was released on unconditional bail.
Alleged victims of sexual crimes have the right to lifelong anonymity. It is an imprisonable criminal offence to share any piece of information that could lead to their identification.
