A Swindon man has been remanded in custody over an alleged attack on his fiancée.
Leon Wilson is accused of injuring the woman in an domestic incident on 29 January.
The 28-year-old, of Risingham Mead, faces allegations of intentional strangulation and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The woman sustained facial injuries in an attack, with the suspect arrested on the same day.
Following a charging decision, police put him before Swindon Magistrates Court on 30 January.
No pleas were entered and due to the serious nature of the alleged offending, the case was sent to Swindon Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 27 February.
Wilson was remanded in custody.
