A 19-year-old man has been charged with making and distributing child abuse images.
Cameron Williams is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday 22 March).
The defendant, of Woodbury Close, Swindon, is accused of eight offences, including:
Making 41 indecent images (photographs and videos) in Category A (the most serious)
Making 33 indecent images (photographs and videos) in Category B
Making 126 indecent images (photographs and videos) in Category C
Distributing five indecent images in Category A
Distributing two indecent images in Category B
Distributing ten indecent images in Category C
Possession of one prohibited image of a child
Possession of an extreme pornographic image – showing a person having intercourse with a dog
All charges relate to dates between March 2021 and October 2021.
Given the nature of the alleged offending, the case is likely to be sent to a crown court at the first hearing. This article will be updated with the court result in due course.
