A Swindon man has been arrested ‘for stalking the neighbours of Nicola Bulley’.
The local barber, who is accused of posting video footage of the mother’s body being recovered from the water in February, has now been banned from entering Lancashire.
Curtis Arnold, 34, was arrested last Sunday (18 June) after police spotted his car near St Michael’s on Wyre – the village where Nicola went missing.
He was first held by Lancashire Police on suspicion of malicious communications offences and perverting the course of justice in relation to the upsetting film he uploaded to TikTok.
Now he’s been banned from entering the county after being arrested on suspicion of stalking.
A force spokesperson said: “On Sunday (June 18) officers arrested a 34-year-old man on Fleetwood Road, Greenhalgh, on suspicion of stalking.
“The man, who is from Swindon, has now been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
“His bail conditions have been set to prevent the interference or intimidation of any witness, including a number of people from the village of St Michaels on Wyre, and to not enter Lancashire for any reason other than to travel directly through the county without stopping.
“The man will report every Wednesday to Swindon Gable Cross Police Station.”
Arnold was one of several social media ‘influencers’ who flocked to the sleepy village as conspiracy theories gathered pace about where the mum-of-two could be.
