A Swindon man has admitted making indecent images of children, as well as bestiality images.
40-year-old Christopher Gibson appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (25 August) where he faced five allegations, including:
- Making indecent photographs and moving images of children in category A (images involving penetrative sexual activity) between 19 July 2015 and 5 September 2019
- Making indecent photographs and moving images of children in category B (images involving non-penetrative sexual activity) between 19 July 2015 and 5 September 2019
- Making indecent photographs and moving images of children in category C (indecent images not falling within categories A or B) between 19 July 2015 and 5 September 2019
- Possessional of prohibited images of children between 19 July 2015 and 5 September 2019
- Possession of extreme pornographic images depicting intercourse with a live unknown animal
The defendant, of Bradenham Road, Grange Park, pleaded guilty to the allegations.
Labelling the crimes “too serious”, magistrates declined jurisdiction and sent the case to Swindon Crown Court for sentencing on 24 September.
Gibson was ordered to sign the sex offenders register within 72 hours.
