A dog owner has issued a public warning after her Labrador falls ill from eating cannabis.
The Labrador started vomiting shortly after her walk in Swindon’s Shaw Forest Park. Within 15 minutes of the vomiting, she became lethargic, less responsive and violently twitched her head.
The dog was taken to Vets Klinic, where it was discovered she had ingested cannabis.
The warning was posted in the Swindon Dog Community group on Facebook by Kayleigh Anne Michelle Woodward on Saturday 20 January. It’s received over 300 shares so far.
Luckily, the family’s Labrador is back home and recovering from the event.
