A man has admitted sending abusive messages to his ex-partner on social media.
Gavin Lloyd pleaded guilty to a charge under the Communications Act when he appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, 24 October).
The 32-year-old, of Banwell Avenue, sent threatening and abusive messages to the woman, who he was previously in a relationship with, on 14 March.
Prosecutor Kirsty Gordon-Cleaver said the victim has since obtained a non-molestation order.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be compiled. He will return for sentencing on 28 November.
