Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested a vulnerable person’s house in Swindon.
The males, both from London, were found at the property in Inglesham Road, Penhill, when police went to conduct a welfare check of the vulnerable occupant.
One of the suspects was found with ore than 100 wraps of suspected class A drugs on him, and both had a quantity of cash in their possession.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, both from London, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs
PC Emma Rice, of the Dedicated Crime Team, said: “Both of the males we located have since been released under investigation and enquiries in relation to these individuals are currently ongoing.
As well as this, we will be seeking to obtain a partial closure order for the address in Penhill due to concerns involving the vulnerable occupant.
“Closure orders help us protect vulnerable people who may be being exploited by drug gang members – the orders, if approved by the courts, will mean that nobody other than the occupant is allowed inside the address and failure to comply with this could result in arrest.”
