One person’s been arrested when police raided a property in the Salisbury area this morning.
Officers carried out two drugs warrants – one in St Martins Terrace and another in Nadder Terrace, Wilton – at around 8am.
During the operation, a quantity of cannabis and cash were seized.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs during the first of the two raids in the south of the county. She’s since been released under investigation.
Evidence of drug dealing was found at the second address raided but no arrests were made. One person is subject of an ongoing investigation.
Sgt Al Cromwell said: “Search warrants are an important proactive tool to disrupt drugs-supply in the Salisbury-area which causes harm to our community.
“They are only made possible by information provided by the community, so if you suspect that there may be drug activity linked to an address in your area you can provide information by contacting us on 101, or alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555111.”
