A man’s been arrested after flipping his car in a county lane near Corsham.
Firefighters were forced to cut the suspect free from his overturned vehicle in Coppershell, Gastard, shortly before 10pm last night (11 November).
The road was closed between Silver Street and Lacock Road for around two hours whilst emergency services worked at the scene and the vehicle was recovered.
Wiltshire Police says a local man – who is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries – failed the roadside breath test. His age was not revealed.
He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into custody.
