A suspected drink driver’s been arrested following a two-vehicle crash in Chippenham.
It happened near Snap Fitness gym on Marshfield Road, at the junction with Bristol Road and Park Lane, at around 7pm this evening.
No one’s thought to have been seriously injured in the incident.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance was seen to circle in the skies above Chippenham following the crash but didn’t land at the scene. It U-turned and returned to its airbase a few minutes later.
A police sergeant at the scene confirmed to Wiltshire 999s that a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after failing a roadside breath test. It is not clear which car he was driving at the time.
