A stone is believed to have been catapulted through a moving car’s window.
Police officers in Salisbury are appealing for information on the incident, which happened at just before 9pm, on Wednesday 8 November, on Portway.
A 17-year-old man was driving a red Nissan Micra along the road at the junction with Partidge Way, when a stone smashed through the offside passenger window, landing in the passenger’s lap – a 49-year-old man.
The window was completely smashed, and the driver and passenger sustained minor cuts
Special Police Constable Michael Wells said: “It is believed that this stone has come from a catapult as the force caused the entire window to smash.
“I am looking for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious or saw anyone with a catapult in this area around this time.”
