Travel company Stagecoach say they have launched a crash investigation after a woman was struck by one of their buses on a roundabout in Swindon early this morning.
Emergency services were called to County Road, on the junction with Manchester Road, at just before 7am following reports of the road traffic collision.
A female pedestrian was hit by a Stagecoach bus, but luckily suffered only minor injuries.
South Western Ambulance Service told Wiltshire 999s that they sent one ambulance to the scene, with the patient receiving all required treatment at the roadside.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: “We hope the person involved in the collision is doing fine.
“Paramedics described her injuries minor, and we’ve been in touch with the police. We understand that they will not be taking any further action
“We are carrying out an investigation and checking CCTV to see what we can learn from this incident”
