Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in a garden in Chippenham this afternoon (20 September).
Skilful pilot Nicky Smith managed to touch down the yellow and green aircraft outside a property in the north of the town at around 12.30pm.
The charity’s critical care medics were tasked to a serious incident within a private address near Langley Burrell, parking up next to an ambulance at the scene.
A number of cyclists who were riding along the B4069 stopped to view the chopper moments after it was parked in the small field outside the pretty cottages.
Despite being mostly hidden behind hedges, some motorists’ heads would turn as they spotted a flash of yellow out of the corner of their eye.
The helicopter team were on scene for around one hour, returning straight back to their Semington base at around 1.40pm.
