Simultaneous incidents in Trowbridge sparked a huge 999 response at the weekend.
Police and the ambulance service were called to a disorder and serious medical emergency in the town centre at around the same time on Saturday evening (6 July).
While officers were dealing with numerous fights breaking out at the Legends Sports Bar, a person is believed somebody collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrested in Trowbridge Town Park.
Two double-crewed ambulances, supported by Wiltshire Air Ambulance, attended the casualty. Further details – including the condition of the person – are unclear.
The nearby disorder is thought to have followed England’s Euro match win.
In relation to the altercations, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to reports of a disorder at the Legends Sports Bar, Trowbridge just before 7.30pm last night (Saturday).
“When officers arrived at the scene there were a number of small fights taking place.
“We are still investigating what happened and would appeal for anyone who witnessed the disorder to contact us on 101 quoting log 232 [of 7 July].”
