A serious incident is ongoing outside Asda – as the air ambulance lands in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the West Swindon District Centre following reports of a cardiac arrest at around 10.30am this morning (Sunday).
A person, whose age and sex have not yet been confirmed, collapsed near Asda – outside the Greggs opposite.
According to several witnesses, the casualty is receiving CPR.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed nearby, with the charity’s critical care medics supporting local ambulance crews on scene.
The West Swindon District Centre has been closed while the incident is ongoing, it’s understood.
