A serious crash has closed a busy Wiltshire route for investigation work.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle on the A36 in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
The major route is closed in both directions between the B3414 (Norton Bavant) and A303 (Deptford).
In a statement, a National Highways spokesperson said: “The A36 in Wiltshire is closed in both directions between B3414 (Norton Bavant) and A303 (Deptford), due to a collision where the vehicle has overturned.
“Wiltshire Police remain on scene to carry out a collision investigation.
“National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting with traffic management.”
