Specialist search officers from Wiltshire Police have concluded their thorough comb of a murder scene on Chippenham’s London Road this evening.
Since just before 1am this morning, 10 May, the main road has been closed by police investigating the suspicious death of a 38-year-old local man.
A 22-year-old man, also from the area, is being held at Melksham custody on suspicion of murder. He was arrested a short time after the fatal incident.
London Road was closed for most of the day, but reopened at around 8pm.
