A search and rescue team have been deployed in the hunt for a missing Wiltshire man.
Police have launched an urgent operation to locate Timothy, who has been reported missing from his home on Wednesday (17 June).
The man, aged in his 50s, was last seen leaving his address in Sutton Benger near Chippenham.
Initial searches by Wiltshire Police were unsuccessful, so Wiltshire Search and Rescue was deployed at shortly before 11pm on Friday (19 June).
He is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, with grey hair and blue eyes.
It’s understood that Timothy was seen leaving his flat wearing a red t-shirt, blue denim cargo shorts, black socks and black trainers.
CCTV shows he was carrying a greige backpack and was also wearing glasses.
The force said that officers are concerned for his welfare.
A number of police vehicles have been sighted in the area yesterday afternoon – including in the missing man’s street – as searches began.
Anyone who has seen Timothy or knows where he may be is asked to call 999 and quote log 181 of 18 June.
