UPDATE
Alister White has been found by Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR). Paramedics were called to the scene, and have taken him to the Royal United Hopsital in Bath for further medical attention.

Wiltshire Search and Rescue have been called to assist Wiltshire Police in their search for a missing 52-year-old man from Wiltshire, last seen early this morning.

Police say concerns are growing for the welfare of Alister White, from Neston near Corsham, who was last seen by his family at around 6.40am today.

He’s is described as white, with blonde hair, wearing glasses, and wearing light blue jeans splattered with paint, a navy blue long jumper and walking boots.

Sergeant Mark Simpson, from Wiltshire North Community Policing Team, said: “If Alister is reading this then we would encourage him to either contact police or contact his family to let us know he is ok.

“This disappearance is extremely out of character and people are getting worried about him. If you see him then please contact Wiltshire Police on 101, or in an emergency 999.”

His car has been left at home so he is believed to be travelling on foot.

Anyone with information should call 101, or 999 in an emergency.
