There are rush-hour delays in Swindon following a motorcycle crash.
Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Thames Avenue at around 4.45pm this afternoon (Tuesday, 29 March).
At 5pm, witnesses spotted members of the public giving first aid at the scene. Police and ambulance were reportedly en route.
It’s not yet clear if the motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries, or if any other vehicles were involved.
The road is partially blocked between Whitworth Road and Avon Mead/Trent Road.
Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment.
