The RSPCA is appealing for the owner of a cat to come forward after she was dumped outside a veterinary practice in Wiltshire – when it was closed.
The female cat was found abandoned on the doorstep of Macqueen Vets in Waller Road, Devizes, early this morning (Wednesday).
According to RSPCA Wiltshire Mid Branch, the pet isn’t microchipped and is thought to be less than a year old. She’s said to appear in a good condition.
The charity is urging the owner to come forward and speak to them so that a formal handover can be completed.
‘We understand sometimes situations change and circumstances are out of our control but please reach out to us direct’, a spokesperson said.
Adding: ‘You are not in any trouble however we would like to be able to understand her background so we can best support her needs.’
