A road near Royal Wootton Bassett is blocked due to a road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the B4042, a short distance from Jubilee Lake, at around 12.50pm today (Tuesday, 13 September).
A car is understood to have left the road and crashed into a tree.
At 1pm, emergency services were yet to arrive at the incident – according to a witness.
Wiltshire 999s has been told that the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical episode at the wheel, resulting in the collision.
The main route is blocked between B4696 (towards Ashton Keynes) and the A3102 – though formal closures are not yet in place.
UPDATE 2PM: The crash has been cleared and traffic is moving past the scene. There is no word on the casualty yet.
