A crossroads in Royal Wootton Basset is blocked after crash this evening (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to a two-car road traffic collision on the A3102, at the junction with Whitehill Lane and New Road, at around 5.30pm.
The busy road is blocked as police and ambulance crews attended the incident – though nobody is believed to have been seriously hurt.
Traffic is building in both all directions, with the A3102 most affected with long tailbacks.
Stagecoach, the bus company, said that their 55 service between Swindon and Chippenham is delayed by the road closure.
A spokesperson said: “Route 55 A3102 road has been blocked between RWB to Lyneham.
“Buses are diverting around the accident via Broad Town and Beckhampton however we have major disruption to this service until the rd re-opens.”
