A road near Avebury is closed as emergency services attend a crash.
999 crews were called to a road traffic collision the A4361, near Harrington Court, at around 2.30pm this afternoon (Friday).
The road, between Avebury and Winterbourne Monkton, is shut both ways.
Numerous emergency services are on scene, but details about the seriousness of the incident are unclear at this stage.
The bus firm Stagecoach said that its 49 service is diverting via the A4 at Marlborough and the A346 due to the closure.
“We cannot service Broad Hinton and Winterbourne and Avebury”, a spokesperson said. Adding that “long Delays expected”.
UPDATE: The road has since reopened.
